The Island City is located immediately north of the Central Fort Lauderdale area. Wilton Manors is encircled by the Middle River, thus where it gets it’s nickname. The Calypso Inn is located only one block away from the center of infamous Wilton Dr. Our guests love our location, our rooms, our service and guaranteed lowest rates of close competing Licensed Bed and Breakfast's. TIP: The goal is to have all rooms occupied, all the time. The longer stays and early reservations tend to get the most discounted rates.

Acquired and newly renovated in November 2013, the Calypso Inn is a Gay Owned and Operated Bed and Breakfast. A great alternative to the Motel or Hotel norm, this concept is becoming a most desired accommodation. The entire property is enclosed by a new navy blue privacy fence with a keyed entry gate. Two lagoon tropical pools are heated in the winter months and open all night. The Calypso Inn together with, Calypso Transient Vacation Rentals, and Calypso Sands Vacation home, you may choose from 10 different options. There are three adjacent connecting properties offering King and Queen Rooms, King and Queen efficiencies, plus a 2/1 complete with its own private tropical pool. New tropical landscaping adorns the common areas. All guest rooms have their own private exterior entrance and full baths. We have off street parking for one car per room. The property has a vibrant fun appeal and is painted in no less than two dozen colors. Poolside tanning areas are clothing optional. Ask about our Pet Friendly room, it may be available. Unfortunately only one room will be set aside for our best friends! Our guest repeatedly tell us our prices are unbeatable, our service is fantastic, and our rooms are clean and updated with upgrades.

The City of Wilton Manors is noted as the seconded gayest city per capita in our United States of America. There are more gay businesses located in Wilton Manors than any other area of Broward County. The Bed and Breakfast concept is a new option in Wilton Manors and is quickly becoming the choice of many travelers. If you prefer to stay where you play then check out the area.

The Fort Lauderdale Beaches are located directly East and South East of Wilton Manors. Approximately a 15 minute drive by car, Sebastian Beach is the area in which most Gays hang out.

All of our rooms have off street parking, private outside entrances, large private baths with huge walk in showers, over sized Air Conditioning systems for cold rooms, sumptuous premium King or Queen Bedding, Mini Fridge/Freezer, Microwave, 48” Flat Screen TV, Free Wi Fi, DVD players with many choices of manly Disc to choose, Hairdryer, and Iron/Board. The Key West Cottage is the largest of the rooms, it is approximately 372 Sq Ft, open and airy with vaulted ceilings see if it is available. Guest receive a lite complimentary Continental Breakfast served daily between 8am and 10 am in our common breakfast area.

Local Nightlife is abundant here…When the day at the beach has ended, Calypso Inn's guest can park the car where they play. No need for a taxi to most of the nightlife, the central nightlife district of Wilton Drive is located a short five minute walk, or one block away. Our local bars boast some of the best happy hour prices anywhere and many serve 2 for 1 from 11am until 9pm six days a week. There are many choices to choose, whether happy hour, dancing, or dining it’s all just steps away. Thirsty?
